We had a clean room with a nice shower/bathroom. A fine place to stay on your way to/from the airport but nothing super spectacular. We did have really nice experience with the shuttles: one to pick us up from the rental car drop off and one to take us to the airport. Both were prompt and with friendly drivers.
Stayed here a few times for business travel. I'm satisfied with it compared to other Hampton Inns I've stayed in. Very clean. Sometimes the counter staff seems a little distracted. It can be noisy because it's right on the street and near the airport. Pillows are better than average for a HI, which I generally think are pretty bad. Parking can be tough, and traffic is bad in the evenings with the amount of businesses and parking garages letting out; there is the need for a cop at the intersection. There are no restaurants to walk to, but it is convenient to I64 and Va Beach.
I had a comfortable stay. It was clean and the pillows were fluffy. Staff was friendly and helpful. A local pizzeria delivered pretty late , about 1am. Which was great. Breakfast was typical of a hotel breakfast. I would stay here again.
Nice friendly staff. But not a toddler friendly hotel. We were there 10 mins before people were complaining they couldn't sleep at 5 in the afternoon because of the party in our room. No loud screaming or crying just kids being kids. We always stay at Hampton never a problem in the past. Also wish they had book a more accommodating room for a family of 6. It was squishy with just 2 uncomfortable beds. Thank goodness for a friendly staff it made our stay bearable.
First the customer service was wonderful. The room was very clean and spacious. We had a single. It was very quiet, very convenient to get to all locations. We would stay again. Didn't get to eat breakfast, slept in.
