It was quite frustrating at first as the Website was down for the Pay Now feature to get the lowest rate and each time I called Customer Service I got someone who was apparently offshore after a couple hours of going back and forth with CS rep explaining to her that the website was down she kept giving me a higher rate; I finally got her to transfer me to web support Rosalea was great in that dept. so when I went a few days later to pick up the car they wouldn't take my Bank Card said I needed a "Credit Card" to rent the car Thrifty's website said they accept Debit/Check Cards. Well at the airport the Thrifty counter directed you to Dollar Rental Cars counter. So if I could have paid it online I wouldn't have had the issue at the counter and I don't use credit cards anymore so of course I don't have one luckily my mom has me as an authorized user on one of hers'. They do need to improve their Customer Service like bring it back into the US I hate dealing with someone who cant deviate from a call script and doesn't listen to the customer on the other end. so many handoffs is bad customer service as none of the reps had any information regarding the website as the website was maintained by a third party also found out by the rep that actually helped me that Thrifty is owned by Hertz. So as I said they need to improve on their offshore Customer Service folks as they aren't helpful at all.

I like how cheap, quick I got my car, the people were friendly and I got in and out quickly. The one thing I didn't like is that they do a credit check to see if they will approve you for a rental. Which would suck if you have bad credit and reserved a car from them then got denied. But all in all it was great.

Thrifty Car Rental was a smooth Easy rental. Picked up the car and returned it with no issues, no problems. Quick and easy.

Part two of 1st review (couldn't fit it all in the first review) Thrifty had yet again charged me $402.90 the only difference was this payment posted and put the credit limit over the allotted amount which made it negative I also checked my checking account debit card and Thrifty indeed took out their $102.90 this was the biggest inconvenience and now I'm in the negative stressed out over this whole ordeal my credit history now looks bad due to Thrifty causing me this what was supposed to turn out as a $39 rental has now cost me over $500 so after checking my statements I proceeded back to the airport to show them that they have charged me twice and they also charge me that $300 smoking fee that I was told would not be charged the representative on hand Kim what she told me she's a lead agent proceeded to tell me in the middle of helping me that I need to step aside so she can help another customer as if my situation was not important I told Kim I will not step aside because this needs to be handled now I already had to leave work to come and handle this this negativity has put me in a financial hardship I'm not able to think and work while being stressed out about someone having access to my checking account as well as my credit card the lead agent Kim contacted the location manager April on the phone and explain to her what exactly was going on April then proceeded to try to rush me off the phone and tell me that whatever they charge my credit card will be automatically dropped off as is only pending I told April it is not pending everything has posted so I need a refund April then proceeded to tell me that I need to wait 5 - 7 business days to see something credit back to my account I told her I need some confirmation showing that you have submitted the refund back to my credit card she told me there's no way she can provide me with anything showing that there was a submission. April said the only thing she can tell me is that there was a submission but she doesn't know how long it's going to take for me to get the credit and that the only thing I could do was call customer service I asked her what's the customer service phone number she then told me I can only give you the gentleman customer service number and not the customer service number that she just got off the line with she did not show any sympathy or concern I asked her is there anyway I can at least just get a confirmation that there was a submission put in place at this point I didn't care about the return date just that at least there was a confirmation that there was a submission for me to even get a refund she told me I just have to go with her Word of Mouth and that if I needed any more assistance to call customer service I've been left the airport call customer service and was told yes there was a submission submitted in the amount of $300 to my credit card on July 5th and that there was a submission put in for my debit card to be charged $102.90 I asked the customer representative why they only why is there only a submission for $300 when my card was charged $402.90 and why are you charging my debit card again after I've already paid the $102.90 on July 3rd she then told me she wasn't sure and place me on a 30-minute hold. I hung up the line with customer service and call it back to airport I got the lead agent Kim back on the line and she gave me a number to reach April directly the number she gave me was the lost and found I called her back and told her that number went to Lost and Found she then told me oh April is a new manager so she probably doesn't have her own extension what another inconvenience. I'm not sure who these complaints go to but I will need a response in this situation I have had nothing but a bad experience from check in to check out!
