Watched a college Women's rugby match. I don't know rugby, but it was fun to watch. Nice park with bleachers and some kind of flea market. Lots of people.

Lafayette park is beautiful. Traffic entering the park and parking can be a nightmare if there are events going on. Very nice playgrounds. Lots of shade.
Id give them a 3 outta 5 stars simply bcuz one half of the picnic enclosures has huge hornets nests up in the rafters! Have been stung multible times! Strangely one part farthest from the zoo is overun with hornets and wasp nests while the ones closest to the zoo is kept clear!
