We got stuck before we even started: The very friendly educator at the front desk took about 20 minutes for a conversation with us about the beginnings of America, the people and ships involved and more. This was really fun - thank you! The exhibition is great, I loved the models and the videos, and the amount of information is just right for about an hour or so.

A hidden jewel in Nauticus and it's free. Unfortunately the Wisconsin is no longer free. Some neat displays, especially the recreation of the monitors turret.

Traffic can be a hassle as there is a cruise liner that docks right next to the museum and gets extremely crowded. There is a parking structure in a nearby perpendicular street.

Great way to spend a few hours.

Not what I expected, first of all very confusing to find, when you walk in they try to get to you to buy tickets for the battleship tour, if you ask where the museum is they'll begrudgingly tell you, has a few interesting artifacts, would be better if they had more staff dedicated to historical education instead of trying to sell tickets.

While the museum is an amazing place with a lot of history, mostly of the warships in WW2, what I envy the most is the apartments that are bang opposite the museum. What a view every time you look out the window - the USS Wisconsin. The pier is packed with information about various warships and there is a small kind of memorial in the gardens of the apartment complex. Make sure to walk around after visiting the museum.
