I come here all the time and I love it. Admission is free and they have a ton of beautiful pieces and works. Sometimes they have a live pianist that echoes the halls as you roam around. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Great place to check out!!

As a DJ it's very hard to get sound in here and make it sound really good. This is a beautiful Museum and an awesome place to to have an event or a wedding, but the acoustics are a bear to deal with. I have pretty top-of-the-line Gear with a drive rack that helps to equalize all of my sound. I did a pretty good job with sound but I'll tell you it is a lot of work to get good sound in here. But again it's a very beautiful place to get married in the staff is great!

Beautiful architectural building inside as well as out. Very well laid out on the inside to make your trip through the building very pleasurable. Fantastic artwork from Egyptian tombs to the classics of the great Masters. Sculptures are fantastic. Excellent place to spend a Saturday or Sunday with the family or individually. Would highly recommend this Museum for the art lover.

What a beautiful place, and best of all.. it's free! I went in late August for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how varied the museum was. Modern art to mummies and that was just only the first floor! I wasn't able to visit the second floor as the museum had to close down early for a floor warning, but if I could would have stayed all day!

This is an extremely underrated museum. There are so many works by great artists like Velazquez, Rubens, Cezanne, Monet, Picasso, Warhol, Pollock, Bernini, Matisse, Hopper, and many others. The museum is large so I would suggest spending at least an hour and thirty minutes there. The quality of the paintings was spectacular and include massive altarpieces, tapestries, murals, and installation art. It also has a collection of archaeological antiquities including a massive Egyptian stone sarcophagus and colossal statues of roman people. The special exhibitions are also very nice. For a free museum, this place is high quality. They do have a suggested donation though.
