I delivered my baby in there. It was a good experience. The doctor who deliver my son and the nurses, they were amazing. The only thing is the hospital is old. My only complaint. They not even took the trash out the 3 days I stay there. But the nursed were good. If i needed anything they will help me. Very punctual with the medicine. Good care.
I hope I never have to come back to this hospital while most of the nurses were pretty nice and helpful my physician Dr. Ryan was very rude disrespectful and uncaring. Through out my time there not once was I consulted on what was going into my body or how it was affecting me. I also had to get 2 catscans and still don't know the results from either one I would definitely suggest going to another hospital if it's not an extreme emergency.
I was prescribed ibuprofen for pain. HOWEVER had he looked at my chart he'd have seen that I can't take ibuprofen because I'm on lithium!
This hospital is very hit-and-miss sometimes I go there and I get excellent care and times like today with nurse practitioner Edward thru refuse to sit down at a computer in his nurses station and look up my patient file decided to pull out his phone and read his literature instead I have been on antibiotics for my teeth off and on for 5 years I have sense built an immunity to penicillin amoxicillin and clindamycin any of the family of antibiotics that end in cin so after I informed nurse practitioner Edward that I have built an immunity to penicillin and that bactrim works great for me he decided to tell me that isn't possible when if he would have looked in my patient files he would have seen that I was prescribed bactrim two months ago and that it worked excellently and I was only prescribed bactrim when I came back to the hospital to tell them that clindamycin was not working I don't think that this is how doctors should treat patients and he is very incompetent in the fact that he wouldn't look at my medical file my personal medical history instead he decides to pull out Google on his phone and read something from a book this is completely unacceptable and I will not be paying this bill I will be taking bonsecours to court to have this bill taken away if I need to I will not be turning in these prescriptions this is completely unacceptable and I will never recommend anybody use a Bon Secour Hospital ever again unless the hospital does its due diligence to fix the problem starting with the termination of nurse practitioner Edward thur
I came home and ended up waking up in the middle of the night with a fever and have gotten worse ever since. I will never go to this hospital again!
This is the worst ER. I went there on Sunday for chest pain, overall feeling like crap and what felt like an abscessed tooth.
I checked my chart online and found that they said they did all these things that they DID NOT DO!
Doc comes in and "examines me" and leaves. I was not given any medication for pain and waited for nearly 2 hours before the nurse comes in to discharge me. I said "but the doctor hasn't even come back to tell me what's going on with me and what my test results were." She hesitated before telling me that my results were normal.
Worse place ever.. if you are having a baby or dying do not come here. They don't think your pain is more important than others. The waiting process is so unnecessary I came here when 2 people were in the lobby and still had to wait hours as I seen people getting discharged I still had to wait. Not only did I have to wait but they put 2 other people before me.
