I bought a new LG washing machine Home Depot in Norfolk VA (Military Highway) for Happy Tails a few weeks ago. I spent an hour with the sales person with specifics: Need to wash towels, dog beds, have 150 dogs a day, etc. Anna (Home Depot appliance sales person) and I decided on the LG washing machine. I signed the contract, paid for the 5 year extended service warranty and the washing machine was delivered and set up at Happy Tails. Two weeks later, the washing machine is dead. I called Home Depot customer service to schedule a service appt. I was told that my 5 year warranty is not valid because it is being used for commercial use. I have talked to the Greg (GM at Home Depot) and he said they would not fix or let me return the broken washing machine and I am under the 30 day return policy. I asked Greg if his sales people knew if the warranties were not covered due to commercial versus residential, he said he did not know. Bottom line, Home Depot took my money, sold me a washing machine WITH the extended warranty, the machine is dead and they refuse to take the washing machine back, won't fix it and I have laundry piling up. I would have never purchased this machine from Home Depot without valid warranty.
Yeah, it's a big box stores, but the staff is so helpful and accessable that I never have to wander around like a lost tourist.

Because of her I'm coming back to your store when I redo my kitchen. That's next! Thank you Chelsea for all your help. I will be bringing my before and after pictures to you as soon as I'm done. Your typical Home Depot store.. Well stocked, clean and organized. I gave only 4 stars because on at least 3 different occasions, employees seen unhelpful, unknowledgable and even rude at times.
