The wash/set/blowout/flat-iron service I received was absolutely wonderful! I was a walk-in and there was only a very short wait, after which my hair was washed thoroughly. I was asked if I wanted a Deep Conditioner; since I'd recently done this myself I declined, which was no problem. I have hair that is Keratin treated which was again: no problem. Roller set was neat and tight, and afterwards Vilma did a lovely job blowing out my hair. She asked if I wanted a trim-- this I agreed to, and she did a great job cleaning up the edges without taking off any length. The entire process didn't take long-- these ladies know how to manage their time! Overall I'm extremely pleased with my style and will definitely return. Note: They only take cash, so be prepared when you walk in!
Sept. 12. 2017 walked in to get attitude from the only hairdresser behind the desk of an empty salon, I got excited thinking I would be in and out. I had to say hello and was looked at as if I interrupted her quite time. I used the restroom quickly and came out to see her still behind the counter on her phone, so I sat and waited. Empty salon. I've been there 1 time and was serviced by the owner and she was great. This woman tells me to sign in. And lets me know, cash only. I check to see how much I have and ask about prices. Cut, wash, blow dry w brush, came out to $80. It could be more according to my hair length. And if i wanted conditoner it was an additional $10. So I walked out and decided if I was going to pay that price, I will just go back to Aveda.
They charge more for natural hair even if it's short. They insist on blow drying you hair at the highest heat which leaves your hair smelling burnt. I have 3c hair in the front 4a in the middle and 3c in the back. I asked for just a roller set and they refused to do it because my hair was natural. They kept insisting I needed to get it blow dryed. Give clients what they want and not what you want to give them.
they did an awesome job on my color, styling is always good too!
The lady who did my hair was nice, and she treated me fairly well. However, I'm natural and now my hair has heat damage. I wouldnt recommend this salon to any person who is natural and care about their hair. They use way too much heat.
