I need a photo ID, right? In order to get one, you need an SS card, which I don't have. In order to get a new SS card, you need a photo ID. See where this is heading? I was offered such helpful suggestions as "Go get a passport and come back." Because you don't need a photo ID to obtain one of those, right? Wrong. I explained that. She said "No, you don't." I said "So if I go to the post office and tell them I want a passport, they are not going to ask me for my photo ID?" "No." was her reply. I basically laughed in her face before calling her a lazy liar and walking out.

I reached on time for the appointment had plenty of parking space my gps took me to the back of the building so I have to drive to the main entrance. The lady in the counter was multi tasking handling my documents and having breakfast same time. Everything went ok. This is very common for brown guys like me .peace

Situations like this are a nightmare when you have to depend on lazy, stupid people as middlemen.

I'd cross my fingers but...

Aside from him, I'd give SS a solid 2 for having more screw ups and so many communication gaps which results in me personally facing unnecessary issues about 3 times a year. I have no arms and my right leg is half the normal length. I should be considered a case that should be filed in a cabinet that fits the criteria of full benefits and after that consideration my cade should never have to be reconsidered ever again. My disability is not changing.

Great way to spend an afternoon feeling like the victim of some dystopian future. They cram like 50 people in to a small room with armed guards. It smells like urine, probably because so many people are in such a small place. They expect you to fill out an application for a new card, but there are no pens in the waiting area, and when you ask someone, they shake their head like you did something wrong.

All the staff I interacted with were unbelievably pleasant, informative, and courteous. Especially the security guards. While having to deal with any office is not the greatest of events or an ideal way to spend your time, between the oversized seats and these people, it was more than bearable.

But, I can only wish. I'm yet again having to get an issue resolved regarding my Health Care program.

The actual employee did whst 3 or 4 others over the phone couldn't or just didn't put in the effort that this guy did. He got to the bottom of a pretty problematic issue that I was dealing with for 4 months of calling and being told to wait.

I gave it a 3 just because the staff that I interacted with were kind and very helpful. Really it's one SS employee and the rest are several security officers.
