APRIL NEEDS SOME CUSTOMER RELATIONS HELP SHE IS SO RUDE AND GOING TO TELL ME WHAT AND WHEN I CALLED I NO EVERYTIME I CALLED AND I TALK TO HER I CALLED ON THURS FOR BULK PICK UP TRUCK RODE BY SO I CALLED THEM AGAIN ON FRIDAY AFTER THE TRUCK RODE BY SHE SAID THEY WILL PICK UP IN THE NEXT 24 HRS NEVER PICK UP AGAIN CALLED MONDAY THEY DON'T WORK ON MONDAYS SO THEY WILL PICK UP ON TUESDAY STILL NO PICK UP I HAD MY DOG PUT TO SLEEP YESTERDAY HE WAS VERY OLD AND I COULDN'T CALL SO I JUST CALLED AGAIN AND SHE SAID WHEN IS YOUR TRASH DAY I SAID FRIDAY SHE STARTED TO TELL ME WHEN I CALLED AND THIS AND THAT I HUNG UP SOUNDS LIKE SHE DON'T LIKE HER JOB JUST WANTS THE CITY MONEY WHAT A WASTE
Every single time I've been to the SPSA Transfer Station, (Norfolk Dump), let alone had to deal with any Norfolk Waste Management employee or service it was a nightmare. Most of the employees have had an attitude and were quite rude when dumping st the transfer station
I have also been to the waste drop-off site a couple of times. Not only were the employees helpful, but they were a pleasure to talk to as well.
Only came to the site to look up the address of the hazardous waste drop-off location because I had forgotten it. .. when I saw the few people who had bad experiences, I was inclined to give Norfolk's Waste Management some props. We've lived here for 50 years and we've never had a major problem. 99.9% of the time recycling, trash can, and yard refuse is picked up right on time. (and the other .1% is usually due to extreme weather). I won't do the math, but that is A LOT of pick-ups!
So ridiculous. They refuse to let you schedule the delivery of your bins until after you already move in, then it will be 14 business days from then. They took over a week to even schedule it like I asked, so I am looking at more like 21 business days. I was ALSO told they would pick up my trash even if it wasn't in bins. That is a lie. This is the worst waste management system I have ever had to deal with. I just moved and have a mountain of trash filling my garage because these people can't get their act together.
We pay alot of money for trash pick up. My blue can has not been emptied. It is full and I want it picked up today. This has happened on more than once.
So yeah.. some isolated people are going to have some issues and be inclined to complain.. unfortunately no one writes about how much they love their cities trash collection. One out of five stars is grossly inaccurate.
