I took my car here the day after Thanksgiving. It was fast friendly service. Everything was fixed I requested and a few others they told me about for inspection. The price was super reasonable. I would highly recommend this place. He was honest and took care of my car professionally. I appreciate it. I will definitely be bringing my business back there.
I came to Shaffer's auto because my car wouldn't start. Mr. Shaffer quoted me as needing a new battery, spark plugs, and told me I needed a new valve cover gasket because oil had been leaking from it. I distinctly told him that I had just paid to replace the gasket a few weeks prior and that the oil residue on the engine was from BEFORE it was fixed. When I came to pick my car up after repairs, I found that I was charged an extra $150 for a replacement valve cover gasket that I already had fixed a few weeks prior. I explained to him that I told him NOT to replace it on the phone, but he didn't listen. I ended up paying him for work that didn't need to be done. Be careful with this place, they will try to rip you off.
