Well that was a ton of fun. Just got back from Lafayette Bar and Grill. I had literally driven by this place two thousand times before tonight. We were searching for good dive bars and we found one! Great karaoke DJ to boot. Reminds me of the now-defunct Cruzers in West Ghent.

I was a customer here for a couple years. Then I became an employee. The owners are great people, honest, hard working folks who are very fair to there employees as well as their customers. Very family oriented.. I love the customers:-)
Atmosphere ,
Came in to eat lunch, only 2 other people were in playing pool, and asked to get a burger and fries and was told, wait till I sweep and mop the floors before I get your burger.
Wait... what?? I'm on lunch. I don't have time to sit here and watch you sweep and mop a floor after I asked for a burger.
I should have just went to Manny burgers I think .
Family owned bar....really ICE COLD BEER. Had a burger for lunch, it was one of the best burgers I've ever had!!!!! :D such a wonderful establishment, great customer serivce, the bartenders are super fast...never have to ask for a beer. Just love this place check them out
