As a big fan of baseball I love to see a minor league team support their fans like these guys do. Best thing in town if you have kids.
My husband watched a baseball game here. Tickets were cheap, just $20 bought a few days before the game. He sat near the pitchers mound but apparently there were alot of little flies buzzing around so that was annoying. On the bright side, there was a lovely fireworks display at the end! Oh and it's great that offer happy hour before the game. Definitely took advantage of that.
I love going down to Harbor Park and watching The Tides play. We are big Orioles fans so it's always a treat to watch some of them come down to Norfolk AAA for rehab or what not. The park is always clean and the vendors etc are always helpful. Food and beer is pricey but that's expected in any venue like this. A fantastic date night, friends night out or family fun.
One of the most beautiful baseball parks weather minor league or professional that I have ever been to. Maintain to a constant level of perfection. Great parking. Located right on the light rail hub for easy access from Virginia Beach or downtown Norfolk. Great place!
Three stars, I'd call the ball played at this establishment "minor leauge" if you know what I mean. I expected more professionalism, thought AAA just fixed your car? "The Tides" would be a good sequel to "Eat, Pray, Love." Has a nice ring.
